The PoWER oF PlaY!
Inspired by the installation of our new playground, the students and staff were doing a lot of thinking about the benefits of 'playing'.
When we play with an idea, we approach it without reserve. Uninhibited by rules, we flip it around, turn it upside down and inside out and just …see what happens.This is how some of our most powerful discoveries are made.Through play we challenge ourselves to become ‘expert’.This is true, whether you are an adult playing with words, numbers and ideas or you are a child playing with Legos and hula hoops.
Play is a powerful thing.
